1. Box Breathing
Box breathing is a powerful technique used by many to reduce stress and increase focus. Here's how you can practice it:
- Inhale: Slowly breathe in through your nose for a count of 4 seconds.
- Hold: Hold your breath for another 4 seconds.
- Exhale: Slowly exhale through your mouth for 4 seconds.
- Hold: Hold your breath for 4 seconds before starting the cycle again.

2. Alternate Nostril Breathing
This ancient yogic breathing technique helps balance the two hemispheres of the brain and promotes relaxation. Follow these steps to practice alternate nostril breathing:
- Sit comfortably with your spine straight.
- Use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale through your left nostril for a count of 4 seconds.
- Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, hold your breath for 4 seconds.
- Release your right nostril and exhale for 4 seconds.
- Inhale through your right nostril, close it, hold, and exhale through your left nostril. Repeat this cycle for a few minutes.

3. Lion's Breath
Lion's breath is a fun and energizing breathing exercise that can help relieve tension in the face and chest. Here's how you can do it:
- Sit in a comfortable position with your hands on your knees.
- Inhale deeply through your nose.
- Open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and exhale forcefully making a "ha" sound.
- As you exhale, open your eyes wide and gaze at the space between your eyebrows.
- Repeat this 3-4 times for a refreshing experience.
